Copy Number

Each volume of the DS-1 Third Edition has a unique copy number. The copy number consists of a letter (M, D, or I) and a 4 or 5 digit number. The copy number is found on the registration card which is inside the front cover of the book.

Volume 1 - Drilling Tubular Product Specification, begins with the letter “M” (red cover)

Volume 2 – Drill Stem Design, begins with the letter “D” (orange cover)

Volume 3 – Drill Stem Inspection, begins with the letter “I” (yellow cover)
