Trinidad

Working on behalf of major operator in Trinidad, we implemented a comprehensive infrastructure quality improvement program for a multi-rig project. A team of four T H Hill field technicians and engineers instituted an audit system for local vendors, created a prioritized quality assurance program for witnessing inspections on equipment classified as high-risk, and built a database to collect all non-conformances, failure incidents and lessons learned.

Gulf of Mexico

We have performed quality assurance services for all major operators on the highest profile and most technically challenging wells drilled in the Gulf of Mexico. This includes witness of inspection and related procedures for all drill string components on the deepest shelf and deepwater wells drilled, and assurance services for record-setting heavy duty landing strings.

Brazil

For a large independent operator, we implemented a well-specific quality assurance system for a deep water well. T H Hill technicians witnessed all inspections, assembly and function testing for critical drill stem components being sent to the rig.

Peru

For a South American operator drilling in a remote location, we implemented a quality program for a multi-well, high profile project. This included witness of inspection and related procedures for all drill string components in an isolated jungle operations base.

Norway

Working on behalf of a major operator, we provided quality assurance services during inspection, assembly and testing of components used in the drilling of a critical offshore well.

New Zealand

For a critical project offshore New Zealand, T H Hill implemented a comprehensive approach to drill string management. We integrated our engineering and quality assurance offerings to create a program for tracking drill string fatigue, setting inspection scheduling and monitoring inspection, assembly and function testing procedures at the rig and shore base.

Chad

Due to concerns about the local infrastructure, we perform annual audits for a major operator working in Chad.

China

We performed a series of audits to evaluate the local infrastructure and identify quality gaps that could impact final product delivery. The audit results lead to witness of inspection and related procedures of drill string components for several major operators on specific wells.

Argentina

T H Hill has vast experience in Argentina ranging from southern oilfields to the deep northern gas wells. Full evaluations of vendor quality levels have been performed for Comodoro Rivadavia, Neuquen, Mendoza and Tartagal. Additionally, we have witnessed inspection, assembly, and function testing of critical drill stem components for numerous operators drilling in Argentina.

Canada

In St. John's, Newfoundland we have maintained a continuous presence for the past five years. We have provided long-term quality assurance services for three major operators working on critical projects offshore Eastern Canada during this time.
