Quality Assurance Technician 1011

Description:  The Company: T H Hill Associates, Inc. was founded in 1980 and remains a privately held corporation based in Houston, Texas. The Company developed and maintains the Standard DS-1® which defines the procedural inspection requirements for used drilling equipment. T H Hill offers clients engineering, quality assurance and training solutions to reduce the risk of structural & mechanical failure for downhole drilling equipment for oil & gas projects around the world. The Opportunity – Multiple Openings / Multiple Locations: The Company is experiencing a rapid expansion of business opportunities in the US and around the world. Quality Assurance Technicians are needed to meet that demand in the Houston, Lafayette, and Houma areas. Quality Assurance Technicians will have the following basic experience and skills: Experience in the inspection, assembly or manufacturing of drilling equipment used in critical applications, including but not limited to: Drill String Bottom Hole Assembly Components Down Hole Engineered Equipment Completion Tools Minimum of three years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with experience in the implementation and enforcement of Quality Systems Experienced in Quality Auditing, non-conformance reporting and corrective action implementation Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and schematics Must be computer literate, own a laptop computer and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Pass a pre-employment background check ASNT Level II certification in MT, UT and PT a plus The Package: T H Hill Associates, Inc. provides a comprehensive compensation & benefits package that includes company paid Medical & Dental coverage, Life insurance and Disability coverage for all employees at no cost.
